The beautiful Bolivian Butterfly Ram is also known as a Ruby Crown Cichlid. These are a native South American dwarf cichlid, popular amongst hobbyists for their variety of shapes and colours. They prefer soft, acidic water in and well-planted tanks. 

Bolivian Rams are more peaceful than other Cichlids and can be kept in community aquariums.
